After you review the contents, decide if you want to sign it. Then, review the list of people who this petition will go to; find out who these people are. Research their role in the American criminal justice system. Choose one of these people to write a personal letter to. Trust me, people like Attorneys General and Police Chiefs read the letters that people send to them. We will work on multiple drafts, to ensure the effectiveness of your letter. Questions? My deepest sympathy goes out to Martin's family this is tragedy and it didn’t only affect one person but the entire nation. It's ashamed before God it seem when a nation take one step up such as getting an African American President we take 2 steps back. We need a real justice system not for just certain types of genders or races but the justice system that Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpen wanted for our generation. I can’t be physical there to support the family but anything I’m able to do in New Haven I will do it. I won’t rest until I see justice is served for Trayvon Martin and all the Black boys who got killed. Justice wasn’t serving. WE ARE TAKING BACK EVERYTHING THAT BELONGS TO US...and that’s definitely JUSTICE! "ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL!!”
